Purpose forged through service
Our story
Where we come from
Warrior Dog Spirit was born from service, belonging, and the belief that courage deserves to be remembered.
Founder Jose Pila came to the United States at a young age and later found purpose and brotherhood in the U.S. Army. Deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan shaped a lasting respect for those who serve—especially the military working dogs whose loyalty and sacrifice too often go untold.
That experience became a promise: create an American whiskey brand that carries these stories forward with honesty, craftsmanship, and purpose.
